Marian Macaranas (b.1995) is an artist based in Queensland, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Queensland College of Art (QCA), Griffith University. Her art practice is driven by curiosity and working intuitively. She is deeply intrigued about exploring introspection, healing and associations and emotional responses to colour, energy, music, surroundings and experiences. She is greatly passionate about the meditative, playful and experimental process of making. She works with an extensive range of mediums including cross stitching, abstract mark making, photography, sculpture and wearable art.
